Courtney Cotton

Bio:
Cotton trained as he University of South Carolina, 1990. Rhode Island School of Design and with various painters in both North and South America.

Painting for 13 years, Cotton’s work is distinctive for its bold use of color. She is unafraid to express herself and her zest for people and life emerges clearly in artworks filled with movement. Some find it hard to define or categorize her style and Cotton accepts that.

As more private collectors and businesses continue to support her art Cotton is gathering the discipline and confidence to become a prolific artist. Cotton also welcomes commissions.

Cotton balances raising three sons, volunteer work, enjoying Colorado’s outdoors, reading, spending time with friends and family and her artwork.

The artist works in her Denver studio located in Denver’s Golden Triangle Museum District. She has been represented by Bell Studio Gallery since 2003.
